I’ve been a psychiatrist in private practice for nearly 25 years, and I am so pleased to be able to recommend the Transcendental Meditation course to my patients. The gains I’ve seen in my patients who practice the TM technique include increases in emotional stability, intuition, self-confidence, and mind-body integration. For women especially, this results in greater flexibility in handling busy schedules and the sometimes conflicting demands of career, motherhood, and self-care.
